Join Ash Joyce and Teagan O'Connor on August 17th, 2024 at Staunton State Park in the mountains of Colorado for a celebration of 10 years together and commitment to marriage witnessed by family and friends. The wedding will be nontraditional in a number of ways; notably, there will be no ceremony. The focus instead will be on building community and sharing time with friends and family. There will be drinks, games, and a potluck-style dinner!
Staunton is located about an hour from Denver, CO. We will be trying to coordinate some carpooling in the Denver area, so let us know in your RSVP if you would like assistance getting from point A to point B!
We will be requesting a block of rooms at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Denver SW-Littleton. To reserve a room for a discounted rate, call in and let them know you are with the Joyce-O'Connor party. If you are looking for something a little further out of Denver, there are a few different options for lodging near Staunton State Park, including Anchorage Farm, Arrowhead Manor, Glen Isle Resort, Two Bridges Lodge, and several lovely AirBnBs! There are also campsites available in the park itself.
The dress code is monochrome, so that means one color, any color you like, from head to toe. Formalwear is not required, and keep in mind that we will be outdoors in the summertime (see average high/low temperatures for the area in mid-August below).
The most important thing is to be comfortable! But also be monochrome. Ash and Teagan will be wearing green and orange respectively, but don't worry, those colors are not off-limits. Check out our Pintrest for ideas!
In the RSVP form, you may opt in to bring a dish for our potluck. This is totally optional, and we will email anyone who is interested with more details. In terms of gifts, we aren't looking for much, but it's our dream to travel the country in a camper van. If you would like to contribute to our van fund, cash gifts are welcome!
